When we opened in 2014, we simultaneously opened a physical store in Kyoto, WALNUT Kyoto, and an online shop . In 2015, WALNUT Tokyo started.
We curate and sell high-quality yarns and textiles from all over the world that we want to work with. The main import sources include the United States, the United Kingdom, Denmark, and Portugal. They are all quality yarns that are rarely found in Japan. In addition, we also carry many artisan hand-dyed yarns. Starting in 2018, yarns spun and processed for us in Japan also joined the lineup.
We also sell a variety of tools that are as essential as yarn, carefully selected from all over the world. We hope you'll make some fun discoveries.
